Should read:

I hate when Outlook becomes LIKE a sprawling file share WITH nested folders
upon nested folders, upon nested folders, upon nested folders, upon nested
folders.

It's gotta be that second account. Remove it and show her how to access via
OWA. Nine times out of ten, these users claim they want access but very rarely
look at the legacy account. I more so treat it as an archive and have those
users pull up what they need via OWA. If necessary (for a bunch of nested
folders), you could always spin up a VM with access to that exec's (it's an
exec mailbox, right?) Outlook.

I hate when Outlook becomes a sprawling file share of nested folders upon
nested folders, upon nested folders, upon nested folders, upon nested folders.

OWA and blackberry work without issue, i will try to remove the secondary
mailbox from her outlook (being that it automatically loads, i guess i have.to
remove her permissions from the second account)

Would she opposed to opening that other mailbox in OWA?

What happens if she's opening her own mailbox in OWA?

Does she have any addins installed on Outlook?

She has one other box that loads, a former exec who did have A LOT of rules, as
for her account specifically I'm not aware of how many rules, but she does
have  alot of items.

Note; both her and the other account have exchange archive set to 12 months,
so in retrospect the second account shouldn't have that much mail as she left
10 months ago.

The one constant in all that is... the user.

How many rules does she have? How many items in her Inbox? How many other
mailboxes are loading along with hers in the same profile?

Hi all,

I have one user that is cursed by outlook, over a long period of time she had
had the following symptoms on Outlook (NOT OWA);

Outlook search stops working (on both laptop and PC)
Outlook Crashes on 2 laptops and one PC
Outlook stops updating
Outlook Freezes

Steps I have taken;

Move mailbox
Rebuild outlook profile
Rebuild windows profile
Turn off cached mode
Format PC
Format laptop 2x

Finally she gets a new surface (the laptops were kind of old and crappy),
she's happy & humming along;
and within the first 24 hours I get the call, outlook crashed on the new
surface right in the middle of a long email.

Her mailbox is only about 4 GB (though with A LOT of folders)

And the ONE THING that has not failed in all this time is "drum roll please"
You guessed it, her BLACKBERRY

I don't want to delete her mailbox as she is pretty high on the chain, but
dont know where else to turn.

Any thoughts/comments and/or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

J
