IMO the purpose of stages is to deliver you the basic tools to install your own personal flavour of Exherbo. So how many config files do you have to edit in an alien editor to install you favourite one? bashrc and options.conf? Is this really such a big nuisance? Stages should be a minimal set of packages, so there should be one editor. I don't care if it's emacs or vim but if it turns out emacs is frigging huge and vi is part of POSIX I'd prefer vim. - -- Best regards, Heiko Becker -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJTZgamAAoJELtGM1DW7zHvKpIP/23IuMkn38h2khnUgdzaiw5K ISJK22jccxNxp7s7wb7wmoAUiyz2p51jrsuW9LDWpwp8dimKqcX97hIJNXEZb0AP t6+XKbzuRAsd0FSyahCxJ3CazrgKcM7IdBn2+6jObbcx4qmkU5w+dTVf7aNYPlLk hgyCuwZ4h7Kwag7DBlx8U1lVaDbw7YBzRSFNNcnWO67x3cmjFsu28X9dcbQVyRWw SkhqFXUBeggZiAElvkobLP5t93+ER/0Gmelg/7l16es5Ogrzw13CWsFPxywvXNOB qem3/Hr587Gvr5jKKpM1/OquQAGFhpRGEmZ1mpe+niSP2bLdPncOoQRNAuK86G9a FHoQt90FBR3oc91Bi1Kp01UNopItCbzjbEVZFutq6NS1Nvq5ZoY7oXwCF/hOr1f+ vTGfM+qxDSrVCkIwFUur8xjZVFsgyjZyq3yvi2HRIb10DufL9ratK6SI0YXa+9N+ 7iCaXzJioHqGQs44jmZPnUbuGG4+dh0tvEBNC/N6JfKuelIHscbjJbUsadBP/F9A QJ9w1IVT8v8uE8WnpbTxkDWzeJqvh67Jm3UYLoeRf7YRtZ+DsMNOy5gtyOWZeDvM NBgdme3PkPRpELeykJvPTwf1reQuX7A1RS7PEhh5dF5QiiWHsMfXmQVeCxzr+Upt 5uNHQ4DezM0zRPLjnz2G =WCuF -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Exherbo-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.exherbo.org/mailman/listinfo/exherbo-dev
