I read the thread on the kernel patches for getting the UDMA IDE ports on the Abit BP6 motherboard to work under Linux; I have two questions, first, I downloaded all of the patches from http://opensource.captech.com/LinuxIDE/ but I'm rather confused as to which patches I actually need to use? Second, It's been so long since I applied patches of this nature, that I do not know how to use them now that I've got them. If someone could point me in the general direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! -- Brian R.
