How do you like that board so far? I've been looking at picking one up,
but haven't been able to convince myself to get the Socket 370 yet.
Sort of limits the upgrades you can do on the board...
Anyway, applying patches:
cd /usr/src/
patch -p0 < patchfile
If that pops up errors, or asks you where the file is, Control-C out of
it, then use this instead:
cd linux
patch -p1 < patchfile
There's a bit of leniency about where patches are created from. For
real Linus patches, it's the first set of instructions. Alan's patches
seem to need the other method. In the end, they both patch the correct
files.
