But answers to the question asked
1.it is from the console
2.no x from the box
3.happens from any term including telnet
4.shell = bash
5.have not had enough time to rebulid the srpm
6.tried to compile the source tarball from bitchx, but would not.. made sure
I added all gcc RPMS I could still would not compile.
