Just choose generic.
Get your book out, match the scan rates to the spec's in the book.
Most modern monitors will do most HF scan rates. It's these 5-7 year
old
early "svga's" that you need to worry about.
Maybe some info will help. ( TV Broadcast engineer hat on now )..
TV's and monitors alike, develop most of thier working voltages from the
horizontal flyback transformer. You have a switching power supply that
when you turn it on
generates a "kick" pulse to get the circuit going. The whole power
supply is actually an
oscillator. The kick starts the power supply oscillating. Once the
supply is "on" the working
voltages ( can be many, 12, 25, 52, 150, and higher ) are relevant to
the horizonal circuits
frequency. The monitors made now can change the amount of voltage at
different scan rates and handle
*MOST* scan rates developed by most vid cards.
The early svga's couldn't. If you ran a horizontal frequency too fast,
all the voltages would increase
and many times burn up the components due to over rating.
Just a little fact that many of you ( who understand computer software
much better than ME ) don't know
about electronics..
So, like I said, get the book out and just don't choose a scan rate
faster than your monitor is rated for!
That simple..
