[expert] Mandrake 6.1.and Mysql errors

On my 6.1 upgrade I get the following errors in log files

erors occured while rotating /var/lib/mysql/mysql.log
^Gmysqladmin:Unkown command: 'flush-logs'
error running postrotate script

This Mysql install is the default setup from initial Mandrake install

Am I missing something really obvious?
