I do agree there. I installed Helix-Gnome with no probs.
I actually went to bed and in the morning, there it was
with all the latest greatest of whatever it needed to make
it happen. If KDE had an updater they would have a very nice
package. I do however like Evolution for Gnome, as I have to 
use Outlook at the base here, it comes closest to it, and real 
conveinent. Still don't know why the packages on kde.org for 
Mandrake are newer time stamp, but yet older packages according 
to rpm.

this is where KDE needs a company/group like helix code. Installation of
helix code is that simple its not funny.
maybe if no group or company is willing to do it then KDE might want to
think about doing it themselves
