Geez, if I sounded like I was complaining about downloading all the 
extra packages, sorry. I was just merely replying to a message.
It would however have been nice to have it posted as to what packages
I needed to prepare for battle, rather than going in blindfolded!

So?  You want the latest, you need to install the latest.  Those
dependencies are in there for a reason!
