My two-cd set of 7.1, downloaded and home-burned, contains:

CD1 (MDK 7.1 Install): libstdc++-2.95.2-7mdk.i586.rpm
        binarys to be capable of execute things compiled with
        C++. The only thing you need if you're not a developer.
CD2 (MDK 7.1 Extensions): libstdc++-devel-2.95.2-7mdk.i586.rpm
        Headers and generic links (libstdc++.so -> libstdc++.so.X.Y.Z)
        to develop soft:
        rpm -qilp libstdc++-devel-2.95.2-7mdk.i586.rpm
        ...
        /usr/include/g++-3/iostream.h
        ...

Both usable with the gcc-g++-2.95.2-7.i586.rpm that is in CD1.

Which is the mistake ?
