Hi ! Javascript has nothing to do with Java. It's a totally different think. Javascript support is integrated idn Konqui and it works, at least for me, great (in 2.0, 2.0.1 and now in 2.1beta). So, Java works also if you have installed a Java Development Kid and entered the correct path in the konqui condifuration. I tried it with the blackdown JDK 1.2 and it works, as far as I can say, great. First you should know if you need Java or Javascript. If you want Javascript support in Konqui you must activate it in the configuration. It should work with every KDE >=2.0... If you want Java support you have to install a jdk and put the correct path into the configuration (mine is: "/usr/local/jdk1.2.2/") ... so... timo
