Hi, with regard to Mandrake 7.2 (with all recent .rpms installed) and with nothing in /etc/hosts.deny and either an empty /etc/hosts.allow or appropriate entries in /etc/hosts.allow I cannot telnet to a recently built Mandrake 7.2 box. I get the initial "connection" then a rejection : viz. kyle@johnson kyle]$ telnet purcell Trying 163.X.Y.Z... Connected to purcell.---etc--.au. Escape character is '^]'. Connection closed by foreign host. [kyle@johnson kyle]$ Clearly there is some Mandrake'ism (a file or whatever) preventing this connection cheers, Kyle Hargraves Red Hat user - trying out Mandrake 7.2
