Do like this and you will be able to open links from Kmail (maybe it will
solve your problem with opening your site too):
1. Open Kcontrol > FileBrowsing > File Associatian
2. Go to 'text' and choose 'html'
3. Click on Embedding tab and you will see there KHTML as service
preference order - choose Add and choose Konqueror in popup window (you
will see a long list - find Konqueror and not Konqueror Web Browser !)-
and move it up
4. Click on apply button.
5. Close Kcontrol and open it again, go again to File association > text >
html, and you will see that Konqeror has been moved from Embedded section
to General section. Leave it there.
6. Konqeror (not Konqueror web browser) should be in the first line !! So,
move it up, and click on apply button.
Now it should work, and when you click on a link in Kmail Konqeror will
open that web site.
Best regards,
