I am using the stock gnome that came with 7.2. I have been thinking about
giving the Ximian stuff a try, but the installer doesn't reference Mandrake
7.2, it stops at 7.1. If I use the installer and let it update the system
will I trash anything? I seem to recall seeing mixed comments about this on
this list. I can live without the sound if I get the other functionality I
want. Both would be nice :)
Be a little patient with me on this, I have never been a Gnome user. I would
need to do
First a Helix install
then a Natutilus install
and then evolution.
Or can I grab them all from 1 place in 1 shot?
Thanks,
Jerry
