In that case, you don't really need to use your SMB/NMB servers. You need to use smbmount (mount -t smbfs) or smbclient to access your files on your NT share from your linux box. mount -t smbfs -o username=user,password=password //ntserver/sharename /your/linux/mnt/point smbclient //ntserver/sharename (with user and pass as needed). smbclient uses LOGNAME, so if you have an account with that name on the NT box, you should be OK, and it will prompt you for your password. -- Craig Sprout Network Administrator Crown Parts and Machine http://www.crownpartsandmachine.com
