Dear friends:

The JRE and JDK directories are located as follows:

1) Sun's J2RE is at /usr/java/j2re1.3.0

2) Blackdown's J2RE is a tar.gz file that installs into your home
directory /home/user/J2RE1.3.0

3) IBM's J2RE is located at /opt/IBMJ2RE1.3-6

4) Sun's jdk-sun1.2.2(a mandrake file) is located at /usr/jdk-sun1.2.2
