This is clearly going to be simple when the answer is presented and I will
smack myself on the head, but for now...
I used to be able to telnet into my linux box from my (NT4) laptop. They
are connected with Samba, the laptop connects to the linux box, I can
transfer files, the linux box is a server.... but I can't telnet in and
log-on?
telnet is live in inetd.conf ie it isn't commented out or anything. What is
wrong? Am I missing something blindingly obvious?
