You didn't make an initrd.img, right? That's your problem. Run this:
mkinitrd --ifneeded /boot/initrd-2.2.19-10mdk.img 2.2.19-10mdk
This will create the initrd file; make sure you include it in lilo!

initrd=initrd-2.2.19-10mdk.img
