even better, it should display the kernel, and if it is ticked, it should
download the RPM and
popup a message with instructions on what to do,, (ie not install it... just
save it somewhere like /var/cache/grpmi)

The kernel needs to show up there because many would not know to install the
new kernel for security reasons if it didn't show up.

Couldn't MandrakeUpdate simply be modified to NOT display kernels?  Prevent
the problem from showing up at all in the app and confusing people:

"Well, the kernel was there in the MandrakeUpdate window so I updated it.
Why did it show up in the window if you are not supposed to update it this
way?"
