I agree wholeheartedly:) One thing I do miss since 7.1: The lovely option to minimize the installation with a 'horizontal scrollbar'. I got a working installation (not using Kde or gnome desktops) using only 250MB. I daren't go lower than that with a gui that includes kmail and multimedia video devices:) I always thought that, that was a very nifty invention, a great help, especially if you're low on resources. It seems to have been lost somewhere:( I would certainly like to see it back. Good hunting, Harm Bathoorn
