Thanks for the suggestions, however, we found out that the HD driver (quantum) we were using has a conflict with that particular controller. (This bug was found on one ofthe BSD support sites). Once we've changed the drive to an IBM scsi drive, the installation seems to work. We have not finished the installation and configuration. Hopefully we will not come across any more problems, and we'll be able to correctly use the Mylex Raid and the DAT drive.
