If it's built on to your MB then you need to contact them (I assume
Intel?) If it's an add on card just check adaptec's webpage for Bios
upgrades.

The only cards I needed a bios upgrade on was the for the 2940UW-aic7880
(
http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/drivers_by_product.html?cat=/Product/AHA-2940UW
 ) and the 2930U2-aic7??? (
http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/drivers_by_product.html?cat=/Product/AHA-2930U2
 )

as for our newest machines the aic7899 is built onto the Dell MB... so
if there is any bios updates then we can get them from Dell.

So far no SCSI firmware updates from dell. but we've had SCSI HD
(Seagate HS firmware) and regular BIOS updates. (we install them for the
heck of it... :) )
