(before that it was a non link.) So I do apologize for that one. But whomever I talked to at HP didn't believe I'd write this letter, so I kinda had to. According to our lawyer (we are releasing soon a product that will fall under the GPL/BSD etal) FULL disclosure of software/credit (depending on the license) is needed to comply. Since they do not provide at least links to the software they are otherwise using (to include what was used to make the bootable cd.) They still lack in compliance. Questions still stand on this point How can you make a 60 day timeout on open source? True they are not required to submit compiled code. Compile at your own risk. I suppose what pissed me off the most is that in acknowledging trademarks they listed RH and Linus but failed to mention the Mandrake trademark. (at least I haven't found it yet.) Finally..... it doesn't work... Keyboard mapping is way screwed up half german half English. Kudzu crashes... great advertising. oops. James
