[expert] Problem with LM82 and modem

Hi all,

I have LM8.2 installed in several PCs and is working ok.
But this afternoon I have installed it in a friend's computer.
He cannot connect to internet (using kppp)
The modem is a Conceptronic 56ET
This is what I get if I run pppd from a console:
