A commerical application is not necessaryly proprietry, sorry if I seem like someone "flogging a dead horse" but i dont think its much of a point either way for mandrake, but not using the correct description leads to people miss understanding. (those of us who do read the licences obviously will still know the infomation) Using an incorrect description is like me measuring 'Weight' as 80 Kg when that is actually 'Mass' (this is only a small point to illustrate the inacuracys found in the discriptions used). I dont see a reason mandrake need to accidentaly misslead. If this was a physics list you might be equally trying to change my use of 'Weight' to the correct word. I mean, you can d/l the basic Mandrake installation, its free. Not > commercial. You can also buy that same d/l version from some place like > CheapBytes, who charge you a nominal fee for S&H, packaging, etc. Its still > not commercial, is it? (or are you saying this is commercial as well?) If its from a company that runs for profit then its commerical, this is basic capitalism. If it is from an organisation that does not make any profits only directs funds towards coninutation its not. But mandrake power pack is clearly a whole commerical product. I'm not trying to get it labeled commerical, as this point is irelevent in the main point i am making in the subject above, it is just to be completly correct. > Or you > can buy a slick Powerpack version from Mandrake, that includes (again) the > basic (free) core installation PLUS some CD's that have a few "commercial" or > proprietary apps on it, as well as some nice manuals... > I think Mandrakes' > team does an exemplary job. I'm proud to be one of their customers. I do to, thats why i bought the power pack to support them. JG
