Hi,

I have just bought a Dell 8200 Dimension desktop PC with a Creative Sound
Blaster Live! PCI sound card.

This does not seem to be recognised by Linux. There are no sound devices in
the /dev directory (no /dev/dsp, /dev/audio...).

I am including the output of lspci -v where you will see the model of the
sound card is not recognised (I tried also sndconfig and it does not
recognise the card). Is there anything I can do or is this card not supported
by mandrake (it seems to be reading the hardware compatiblity)?

Thanks for any help.
Andre
