They don't ever actually touch anything. The center point seems to be
the "magnetic tip." But I can't confirm that without unscrewing stuff. I'm sorry, I really don't want to do that. :)
Anyway, the bearing type is specifically listed as being "Magnetic Tip Driven". If it were anything else it would be listed as "sealed", "ball", (both), or "sleeve". There's absolutely none of that. Plus the fan is advertised as "bearingless."
