That is because urpmq's default behavior is to return just the named
package if there is an exact match. This can be overriden and all such
names retrieved by using the "--fuzzy" switch. From my 9.0 system:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ urpmq --fuzzy autoconf
The following packages contain autoconf: autoconf2.5 mozilla autoconf
