Dave has it right. I haven't my GCR in front of me, but the issue was that the ducts were in the front of the pods. I'm going to let Don Hanley know (I'm certainly not blaming him) and he can do what he wants with the info (probably nothing). I'm still a little steamed about the whole affair. The entire F500 crowd was held in impound for about an hour without explanation. When it became apparent tech was interested in our car, I asked to let the others go. They did and we spent more time scratching our ... in impound. We've taped the ducts up, but our logbook is notated that a permanent repair must affected. I'm thinking of sticking missiles in the ducts, but I'm sure they'd be found to provide some sort of aero advantage.
There was some talk of someone was writing SCCA and watch FasTrack and whatever, but I'm thinking I should be one of the people writing. I'm just not sure how to go about it. Certainly I'm all for cleaning up the language.
