No, the concept was to re-fit older, non-competitive FCs with 1000cc bike
engines/transmissions. In theory, there are a lot of very good but
uncompetitive early-to-mid-90s FC chassis out there that need a home, so this
is a way
to jump-start a bike-engined class.

Stohr has already announced his $29K roller, but at least one other
manufacturer has quietly been saying they're in, as well. This one looks like
it
will stick.
