Bruce, thanks for the updates, this is EXACTLY what I have been looking at.  
There's absolutely no reason why these cars can not be built here for similar 
prices.  Lee builds excellent quality cars, they are probably worth the money, 
but I think that F1000 class, could have a similar car, maybe with less 
technology and gizmo's, for a much more reasonable price.

cars indeed. I don't know why they haven't caught on. Oh yeah, F5 cars can race 
with the F4's in Canada.

As far as a threat, guys are spending close to $20k on a superkart that's light

OK... That's $28,995 for a roller. Add tires, engine, dash and bells and
whistles and you're easily looking at $35,000 to get on track.

By the way, Phoenix Race Cars is also planning a F1000 chassis for next
year, targeting "35,000 - $40,000" as a turn-key.

Still think that F1000 is a real threat to F500? 

By the way... I'm not ignoring the threads about advertising and
promotion ideas. I'm just busy with work right now. I figured I'd let
you all hash out some ideas.
