Stan ,
I was saying that while I would like ARB on a F500, I guess if they confuse
newcomeres , then the class can still do w/out :->
Since Stohr and Stohr-like cars are curently extremely fast and the
NovaKar(which can't legally have them anyway) is also fast w/out any ARB,
it doesn't appear to be a really big deal.
You didn't mention virtual or 3d springs as a way to lower wheel rate in
one wheel bump. But you know about those.
The James's had good luck with that setup both front and rear on their DSR.
Lots of ways to skin a car, er cat.

Neither your premise nor conclusion are really true here, Chuck. In my
experience, both formula cars and sports racers definitely benefit from
front ARBs (I speak from 9 years experience running pro and club Atlantics,
plus several more years running C and DSRs). The Stohr/West (1st & 2nd
generation) DSRs do not have ARBs due to their particular front suspension
layouts, but by not having them teams are forced to use more front spring
rate than they otherwise would for optimal mechanical grip. Believe me,
this is a constant source of frustration for many serious DSR guys. Also,
the Stohr/West are the only DSRs which do not have at least front ARBs -
all others do. Stan

Sway bars are not really necessary to the look nor function of a formula
car. So those could be left off. The newest DSR's don't have any.
