Big ones for trucks and Corvettes are about $74. These have been run on Corvette T1 road race cars and vintage Cobras. The shock has an inertia activated valve that when closed, allows the shock to have more damping at low piston velocities, like in roll or under braking. Then the the valve opens under high acceleration to allow dimiished damping , like over a bump. The piston acceleration determines how much the valve opens. As the wheel reaches the crest of the bump and acceleration slows, the valve gradually closes.
