Some do indeed run FoxShox mountain bike parts.  They don't have restrictions 
on these parts, so they could run Penske's if it fits in their budget.

(If you want pix, let me know and I can find out where the kids over at 
UM-Dearborn stash their photos, I know they've got lots of suspension pictures 
from the past couple of competitions.)
