By being far lower cost, and slower enough that they were recognized as a distinctly different class of cars. The concern is that if F600 gets close to our price point for a conversion car, the distinction between F500, F600 and FF will get very blurry, and do so rapidly. Our lap times are effectively identical now, so there would be no need for 'adjustments'. Topeka is already searching for ways to eliminate 'weaker' classes; since we are currently the lowest in open-wheel participation numbers, we stand the most risk of losing our status as a separate class. ________________________________ FormulaCar Magazine - A Proud Supporter of Formula 500 The Official Publication of Junior Formula Car Racing Subscribe Today! www.formulacarmag.com or 519-624-2003 _________________________________ _______________________________________________ F500 mailing list - [email protected] To unsubscribe or change options please visit: http://f500.org/mailman/listinfo/f500 *** Please, DO NOT send unsubscribe requests to the mailing list! ***
