With your height I would make very sure you can fit in under the roll
bar rules. I'm 6' 2" and have to make a lot of comfort sacrifices to fit
in a KBS, MkV or MkVII. Which isn't to say you can't do it, it's just a
lot of work with pedals and pouring a seat and generally moving things
around. Also forget a HANS device since it'll push you too far forward
and you'll violate the line from the top of the rear hoop to the top of
the front hoop. There are shops out there that can graft extensions on
if you find the right deal. Make sure you take your helmet and a
broomstick/long straight edge to the sale.

If you're going KBS I would also tend towards the MKVII or VII (which a
lot of people don't care for) since the cockpit is somewhat wider. Not
too much of a problem personally but I know people who get pretty
bruised up on the forearms from driving the cars.

Also take your racing shoes. I once bought an FC without taking my
racing shoes. Not a good idea. I had to shoehorn my feet into shoes 2
sizes smaller than what I was using to drive the car.
