Just my two cents worth based on my feelings after talking to Bob Introne at
Lime Rock. I noted that he felt the puck proposal might get approved at the
Dec meeting if the issue were to be brought up again.(I presume he means the
CRB has to bring it up) My gut feeling is that suddenly dropping the puck
argument in favor of a shock spring proposal at this time (before the Dec
BOD meeting) might meet with some strong negativity as for example "will you
guys get your act together and decide what you want to do and stop wasting
the BOD's time" I don't know how we would do it but perhaps it might be
better to let well enough alone for now and get someone willing to
experiment and test a car with the agreed upon shock/spring combo. When we
get all our results in order (IF there is a substantial improvement over
what we have now ie: cost/benefit ratio) then go back to the CRB with a
shock proposal. BTW I thought I have read all the comments on the puck
debate after my original report on my meeting with Bob I where he said the
CRB didnt fight for the proposal. I must have missed any comment from Stan
Clayton......( I know he has been active on the Apex Speed site)?????????
