The short choke cables will also reach the bulkhead at your head. You can put it there as well. We whip out the ether. We like the smell.......
As a former heavy equipment operator/transport driver, I had it beaten into my head: "Do Not Use Ether" other than a last resort, and then use it sparingly. Diesel engines really don't like the stuff much. I don't think gas engines like it much either.
