The short choke cables will also reach the bulkhead at your head.  You
can put it there as well.  We whip out the ether.  We like the
smell.......

Chokes will only be used when starting the engine from Stone Cold.  And
in
my case I don't use the chokes at all.  A shot of ether into the air
cleaners and between the 1st and 3rd pull it fires.  Warm the engine up
for
2-3 minutes and it will fire first pull for the balance of the day as
long
as it is run every 2 hours or so....a litter shorter time if the ambient
is
really cold....in the 40's or 30's....run just enough to keep a little
heat
in the engine.

My Mikuni carbs have levers to activate the choke. Isn't there a way to
convert these to a dash mounted lever? I may need to start the motor by
myself.
