Lee,
   
  I've always used either button or lever chokes, but my new car will have the 
set up that I saw in Darrell Greening's car at the Runoffs.  He has a lever 
primer mounted through one of the aluminum panels in his cockpit, so the primer 
fuel lines are actually outside of the cockpit.  I think the primer lines T 
into the fuel lines in the engine compartment.  No more problem needing a choke 
at the last minute when you're already strapped in - which happens to me way 
too often.
