I've had extremely good fortune with those Facet electric pumps. I have discovered that when they die, they don't pulse no more.
After considering the advice given by forum members, I went with the electric too. I've seen heater motors run for going on 20 years, so I figure an electric pump ought to be pretty reliable too. Thanks Dave.
