Lee - For a 'quick and dirty' tach spend $50 with Hi-Performance Engineering or Denis Kirk for a 'Tiny Tach'. Tach pick up wire wraps around a plug wire. Our coils fire two times per engine revolution.

According to the previous owner's notes, the jets are 260. Weather down here right now is mid 70's, high humidity. I will play with the idle adjustment first. Any tips for a good starting point? My big drawback is I have no tach so I can't tell what the RPMs are. I know, poor way to run a garage. If it is the crank seal, then I will just drop in the fresh rebuilt motor I have on the shelf. ----------------------------------------- This email transmission and any accompanying attachments may contain CSX privileged and confidential information intended only for the use of the intended addressee.
