One other option is the Full-Torque insert.  http://fulltorque.com/  I plan
on using them to fix the engine mount holes on my (currently unusable due to
stripped holes) spare engine as soon as a machinist friend gets his mill
powered up after a move.  Unlike Helicoils and the Muller insert, they are
keyed so there is no chance of them backing out (a problem I've had with
Helicoils in the past.)
