Why is it that the rotax powered cars have seperate Ford style starter solenoids, but ski-doo sells their starters with a solenoid piggybacked on it? I see 3 bolt holes on the starters that I assume bolt onto the rotax engine block. Are there any advantages with either set-up? I am seeing the ski-doo starters rather cheap on ebaymotors.
