Most of what is and is not legal can be confirmed by consulting the GCR
which can be found online in the bowels of scca.org. Although not all that
exclusively crafted (there are some ambiguities contained therein), it is
the class's reference document for legality.

1. From what I have read in this list, RAVE 494s are not allowed by
SCCA in F5, amazingly, even with the RAVE valves removed and the
ports blocked.
So we can use RAVE 493 but not RAVE 494? Oh gawd this is wierd and
confusing!
