Holy crap! That thing was about 180 degrees off? Jeeze! I am glad you finally got it fixed. Not having torn into a rotax, yet, are those valves stainless steel, plain ole sheet metal, or what? I have seen aftermarket ones in carbon fibre, but am sure they wouldnt be legal for scca. Bill Schmidt 88 red devil (kawi for now)
>>> Kenneth Kirkland <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 03/03/07 5:52 PM >>> My rebuilt 494 finally fired up this afternoon following an adjustment to the rotary valve. For anyone who's curious, I whipped up a quick web page to show how far off the rotary valve was at: http://69.254.181.115/f500/rotary.htm Profuse thanks to everyone who helped troubleshoot the situation. So many people on the list helped that trying to name everyone individually would inevitably lead a serious omission. Thanks again, Kenneth Kirkland #18 MiDiv / Arkansas Region (77) 1991 KBS Mk.
