I don't know what the cost premium is for the fog free shields, but I have had
good success with the Fog City anti-fog liner on my standard shield. No
fogging, regardless of weather. They last forever, and the cost was about $19
the last time I bought one (3-4 years ago).

Subject: [F500] fog free face shields?

I'm shopping for a new shield for my racing helmet. I see that about all the
different tints and styles now come in regular and fog free. I really
struggled with fogging in the rain at the runoffs. Do these fog free ones
really work? And does it wear off over time?

I'm thinking of getting both a clear and a light smoke, so I'm wondering if
it's worth the extra cost to get the fog free on both of them.
Thanks
Herb
