Those that had followed the wheel thread earlier this week may be interested. I ordered a 10x8 Weld Racing wheel Monday night, it came in this am and I took a quick look at it. The first thing that was impressive was the way the very outer edges were rolled. They are about .335 in thick right where tire tools would hit em. http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p65/FM117/F-Mod%20car/139_3960.jpg The shells look to be .125 thick and weld claims 3.7 lbs. The plan is to make up some centers for these to match my hubs..... Might be a few weeks before I get time to play with it. The wheel came from Speedway Motors $105 including UPS.
