Well I'm not so sure about that. The raw cost of his materials is 139.24
plus labor. He figures that it takes at least an hour. 60 per hour is a
standard rate. That puts it at 199.24. Plus the fasteners,build time,
polishing of the center etc. Of course he doesn't have to box or package it
and he doesn't have a shop overhead either. In the past we retailed these
wheels for about 120 to 140. Barely sold any. When we factor in the cost to
set up equipment to make a couple of parts the cost goes way up. If we were
selling even five sets a month the cost would come way down. But we don't.
Even with all things considered our current pricing is only about 50 dollars
more than his costs. Our f500 wheels usually came in at about 4 lbs or so.
I'm curious to see the weight. The build looks well thought out and I'm sure
will work out fine for the application. Button head bolts are not really
meant for that type of application and wouldn't suggest you use them. Best
