Steven, many of us who just Solo 2 are cars have just as much right to speak up. Many of us have as much or more invested than some of the average people just Road Race. Also many of us are Regional and National Solo 2 drivers. It cost us just as much to tow to Kansas and other places to run in the National Tour events. When we have a problem with our cars at an event we do not have much time to fix it before we need to run again.

Many of us have reasons why we do not road race, not that we don't want to, but like myself cannot afford the extra cost. Plus some of us have health issues that could prevent us from getting a license.

So what happens to this class has an effect on all of us who compete in F440/F500 cars.

Both would be a good idea before you voice an opinion to be taken seriously. Yes I know both you & Novak offer to design probono for others, but I don't think Hanley, Q and others would be any more interested than Panoz would be in Chevy designing LMP suspensions for them. Nothing's for free. And I bet they would get exactly what they paid for. How 'bout we limit opinions to those who actually race cars somewhere other than on the bench. And wasn't Jay leaving to design DSR-See SR board on EZboards...He only was waiting to sell his last two F5s.......... Just a thought from someone who sunk 25k over the past 18 months into racing F5s. --And who considers it money well spent.

I'm sorry and I'll say it till I'm blue in the face, there's no reason why a car with 600cc "STOCK" motorcycle engine would be any more expensive if not much
cheaper to operate than a single source 2 cylinder 2 stroke.
